Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Fashion Design, or Industrial Design, or equivalent experience
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in apparel design
  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM systems
  • Familiarity with garment construction, fabrics, and trims
  • Experience in an apparel design or product development environment
  • Bonus: Experience in western facing or adjacent brand
  • Based in Austin, TX or willing to relocate to Austin, TX
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while keeping accuracy and deadlines top of mind
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
  • Curious, eager to learn, and excited about contributing to a growing brand

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation of seasonal apparel collections including CADs, tech packs, and presentation materials
  • Maintain organized fabric, trim, lab dip, and artwork archives
  • Support fittings by capturing design changes and next steps accurately
  • Update and maintain tech packs with accurate design details
  • Research trends and markets to bring in fresh ideas that align with the brand
