Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Fashion Design, or Industrial Design, or equivalent experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in apparel design
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM systems
- Familiarity with garment construction, fabrics, and trims
- Experience in an apparel design or product development environment
- Bonus: Experience in western facing or adjacent brand
- Based in Austin, TX or willing to relocate to Austin, TX
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively
- Ability to manage multiple projects while keeping accuracy and deadlines top of mind
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
- Curious, eager to learn, and excited about contributing to a growing brand
Responsibilities
- Assist with the creation of seasonal apparel collections including CADs, tech packs, and presentation materials
- Maintain organized fabric, trim, lab dip, and artwork archives
- Support fittings by capturing design changes and next steps accurately
- Update and maintain tech packs with accurate design details
- Research trends and markets to bring in fresh ideas that align with the brand
