Requirements

  • At least 4 years of hands-on full stack development experience in TypeScript (preferably) or JavaScript
  • Experience with a modern Server Side Rendering framework, preferably React
  • Solid understanding of core JavaScript and Node concepts (threading model, memory management, data structures) and the npm toolchain
  • Experience with and ability to write CI/CD pipelines utilizing industry-standard build tools
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to respond to and continuously improve based on constructive criticism
  • Solution-driven mindset, an ability to work independently based on well-defined technical requirements, a drive to tackle roadblocks, capability of defining the problem in clear engineering terms before asking for help
  • Being a team player, ability to cooperate with cross-functional and cross-regional teams across the globe
  • Thirst for knowledge and a drive to learn and utilize technologies outside of your comfort zone quickly

Responsibilities

  • Developing, testing and documenting a modern Node/React runtime powering a large public-facing website ecosystem
  • Responsible for core framework functionality and cross-cutting concerns (e.g. authentication and authorization, rendering, URL handling, automated regression testing, upstream data source integration)
  • Working closely with the Marketing Technologies team lead to develop, integrate and maintain various marketing tags and pixels
