Requirements

3+ years of development experience with at least 2 years of native iOS experience
Practical experience building iOS applications in Swift
Solid understanding of computer science and engineering fundamentals
Effective communication skills to collaborate across distances and experience levels, and disagree constructively
Stay on top of iOS community trends and continuously seek ways to improve products
Passion for well-architected, clean, well-written code
Experience using approved AI code generation tools (e.g., GitHub CoPilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar)
Experience with running experiments and experimentation frameworks (a plus)
Ability to work hybrid: in Seattle, WA headquarters every Tuesday and Wednesday, remote other days

Responsibilities

Design and implement complex, technical projects that impact home-buying and selling decisions
Collaborate with teammates by reviewing code, writing documentation, refining best practices, and building maintainable and testable codebases
Work closely with product and design teams to understand user and business needs
Drive the team forward in iOS best practices and design principles, incorporating industry trends
Use approved AI code generation tools to document, architect, and create code
Obsess over improving user experience, including collaborating on beautiful products and addressing performance bottlenecks
Support app infrastructure to ensure it is fast and stable
Build features enabling customer interaction with the home buying experience on mobile
