Requirements

  • Degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, data science or quantitative discipline
  • Minimum of 2-5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate, or advisory
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Deep understanding of commercial real estate sectors, operating KPIs and valuations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in relational database management, cloud-based data warehousing, and data visualization tools (considered an asset)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Disciplined and diligent approach with rigorous attention to detail
  • Intellectual curiosity and adaptability

Responsibilities

  • Prepare data-driven portfolio analytics to inform portfolio construction and asset allocation decisions
  • Develop understanding of OTPP returns, benchmark, and risk frameworks to assess historical and projected performance
  • Support the development of a data & technology strategy for real estate investments
  • Support long-term capital planning by preparing deployment forecasts
  • Provide support to investment teams during semi-annual valuation process
  • Assist real estate department with monitoring progress against OTPP sustainability targets
  • Build relationships with other asset classes and functions across OTPP and contribute to portfolio wide reporting
