Requirements

Degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, data science or quantitative discipline
Minimum of 2-5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate, or advisory
Excellent quantitative, analytical and financial modeling skills
Deep understanding of commercial real estate sectors, operating KPIs and valuations
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficiency in relational database management, cloud-based data warehousing, and data visualization tools (considered an asset)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Disciplined and diligent approach with rigorous attention to detail
Intellectual curiosity and adaptability

Responsibilities

Prepare data-driven portfolio analytics to inform portfolio construction and asset allocation decisions
Develop understanding of OTPP returns, benchmark, and risk frameworks to assess historical and projected performance
Support the development of a data & technology strategy for real estate investments
Support long-term capital planning by preparing deployment forecasts
Provide support to investment teams during semi-annual valuation process
Assist real estate department with monitoring progress against OTPP sustainability targets
Build relationships with other asset classes and functions across OTPP and contribute to portfolio wide reporting
