Requirements

Candidates must have a degree in Finance or Accounting or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year of confirmed experience in investments/markets. A strong understanding of investment accounting product mechanics, including debt instruments, equities, and derivatives is required. Familiarity with GAAP/IFRS Accounting Standards is a plus. Responsibilities

The Analyst will be responsible for handling all aspects of accounting and reporting services for insurance clients, including supporting the monthly accounting close and delivering accurate investment reporting. Key duties involve responding to client inquiries, reviewing exception management tools, completing quarterly/annual reconciliations and reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements (NAIC US Statutory, Solvency II, IFRS, GAAP), and analyzing accounting data to provide commentary. The role also includes assisting with client or department projects and initiatives to improve service offerings and utilizing learning tools to deepen understanding of accounting policies.
