Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day transactions between the 3PL's WMS and SAP
  • Influences 3PL processes that impact inventory health and accuracy and serve as the first point of contact at the IDC for inventory-related projects, inquiries, audits, etc. with Finance, Internal Audit, Quality, Operations, etc
  • Drive continuous improvement to Warehouse processes including receiving, parts put-away, picking etc
  • Manage excess and obsolete material strategies to disposition aged materials
  • Leads annual Physical Inventory planning, coordination, SOX and SOD audit activities and other fiscal activities related to the site
  • Reviews 3PL inventory adjustments and write-offs to understand root cause and implement corrective action to avoid recurring activity. Follow Rockwell Automation Delegation of Authority when executing internal write-off activities
  • Partner with 3PL to maintain current reconciliation activities between 3PL Warehouse Management System (Manhattan Scale) and SAP
  • Track, validate and report 3PL inventory liability responsibility
  • Complete SAP transactions in coordination with other Rockwell facilities to correct over/under ships
  • Partner with 3PL Quality team and internal Rockwell stakeholders to effectively execute, evaluate and release quality holds
  • Oversee 3PL cycle count targets and performance
  • Drive 3PL shipping discrepancy research and resolution and collect root cause for corrective action and continuous improvement activities
  • Lead inventory disposition efforts, partnering internally within Rockwell to resolve root cause issues
  • Partners cross-functionally within Rockwell's Integrated Supply Chain Organization with project ownership of inventory modeling and optimization for the site to better improve inventory planning, storage and utilization targets
  • Partner with 3PL on training activity
  • Health check and operational reporting activities
