Currently pursuing a Master's or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems
Experience with Gen AI technologies and on-prem LLMs is a plus

Responsibilities

Extend on the existing Gen AI on-prem LLMs to construct chat agents for LifeScience applications, strictly adhering to secure guardrails and reducing hallucinations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully implement innovative solutions
Transfer an existing proof of concept to the MSD R&D environment
Explore existing the GenAI pipeline evaluation
Evaluate 3rd party large language models by means of synthetic data generation and feedback from application specialists
Find options to reduce response hallucinations
Improve Retrieval Response Times (e.g., by profiling Docgraph to improve dilation performance)
Improve Inference Response Times
Evaluate existing implementations for Guardrails
