- As Process/Technical Service Engineer: develop and lead test runs to optimize operations; perform process engineering calculations; monitor and recommend on catalysts and adsorbents; complete projects and provide recommendations for process and equipment improvements
- As Operations Research Engineer: develop planning, blending, scheduling, and process models; validate production data and mass balancing; perform process modeling; develop graphical interfaces for refinery process units
- As Environmental Engineer: work on refinery compliance projects; apply engineering principles to environmental projects; perform process calculations for Risk Management Plan including physical surveys; work on Wastewater Treatment Plant projects; participate in inspections and testing by officials
- As Products Control/Economics Engineer: work on operations, blending, and economics projects; gain understanding of tank farm operations and product preparation/shipping; analyze process flow data against optimum levels to identify equipment failures; update gasoline blends and tank samples for audits; develop applications for presenting process data
