Candidates should have experience and proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails, along with production experience in JavaScript. Experience with Vue.js, React, Svelte, or Angular is preferred, as is familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS systems in production environments. Strong curiosity to understand systems holistically and experience owning a project from concept to production are essential. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment. Experience with subscription management or billing systems like Zuora and Salesforce is a plus.
The Fullstack Engineer will develop web interfaces and services that connect instances, groups, and users to customer subscriptions. They will support ongoing operational concerns by triaging customer-impacting bugs and monitoring key integrations for errors to support compliance requirements. Responsibilities include building secure, well-tested, scalable, and performant solutions for license delivery and other purchased entitlements. The engineer will also use error tracking tools to resolve errors between Salesforce, Zuora, and GitLab that impact license generation, build customer-facing interfaces for license management, review merge requests from other developers, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet needs and maintain high quality.
