As a Software Engineer at Fullscript, you will craft scalable systems that solve real-world problems in healthcare. What You'll Do

• Develop and Scale the Backend: Build and optimize Ruby on Rails services that power the Fullscript platform.
• Design and Refine APIs: Ensure GraphQL services are fast, reliable, and easy to maintain.
• Ship Features That Matter: Collaborate with frontend teams to enhance core functionality.
• Write Clean, Test-Driven Code: Adhere to best practices to ensure code maintainability.
• Optimize for Efficiency: Improve performance and scalability to handle high-volume traffic.
• Collaborate and Grow: Share knowledge and learn from a high-performing team.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Software Engineer First: You take pride in writing scalable, maintainable code.
• Ruby on Rails Expertise: You have hands-on experience building and maintaining production applications with Ruby on Rails.
• Frontend Familiarity: You are comfortable with JavaScript or JS frameworks (React, Vue, AngularJS, Next, or similar) and can contribute to the frontend when needed, enjoying full-stack work.
• Systems Thinking: You understand how backend services connect, scale, and evolve.
• API Development: You build APIs with purpose, possess knowledge of GraphQL, and understand how to design efficient, well-structured APIs.
• Collaboration Skills: You excel at working across teams, including frontend, product, and fellow backend developers.

Bonus Points If You:

• Have experience scaling high-traffic Rails applications.
• Have worked with React or GraphQL.
• Are passionate about healthcare innovation.
