Job Opportunity: Xactimate Estimator (Remote)

Position Overview

ISTA Personnel Solutions, a global BPO company, is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Xactimate Estimator to join our team. You will be partnering with a U.S.-based client in the Environmental Services sector, assisting with the creation and revision of insurance estimates. This is a fully remote role for South African citizens who thrive in independent work environments and possess excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Create new insurance estimates using Xactimate based on provided data.
• Update and revise estimates as needed.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams.
• Take initiative on tasks without requiring constant check-ins.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Xactimate, particularly in mitigation/restoration estimating.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
• Reliable, self-driven, and responsive.
• Solid written and verbal communication abilities.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience working with U.S.-based restoration or insurance teams.
• Familiarity with common insurance claim processes.

Working Conditions & Requirements

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Workplace: Remote
• Location: South Africa Only
• Working Hours: Aligned with U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) Monday to Friday. (15:00 PM to Midnight South African time, subject to change due to daylight savings).
• Internet: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line will not be considered.
• Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup will not be considered.
