Requirements

  • Ability to script or automate tasks using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Comfort working in both Linux and Windows environments

Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring, configuring, and maintaining security tools such as SIEMs, endpoint protection platforms, and vulnerability scanners
  • Investigate and triage security alerts by analyzing logs and system activity across cloud and on-prem environments
  • Support the incident response process by documenting findings and helping implement containment or remediation steps
  • Automate repetitive security tasks by developing and maintaining scripts or playbooks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Participate in reviews of infrastructure and cloud configurations to identify misconfigurations or policy violations
  • Contribute to improving and maintaining security documentation, including SOPs, detection rules, and runbooks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security-related initiatives to support secure development and operations practices
