Requirements

  • Recent graduate (within the last 12 months) or in final year of a degree graduating summer 2026 in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field
  • Some experience with security tooling, particularly Data Loss Prevention (DLP), highly desirable
  • Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts
  • Completed a sandwich year, internship, or similar work placement in a technical or security-related role
  • Problem-solving mindset with natural curiosity and drive to solve complex problems
  • Ability to ask questions and take initiative
  • Communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyse, and respond to security incidents alongside the security team, including investigating alerts and participating in incident response
  • Use and manage security tools, focusing on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies, including configuring, tuning, and maintaining them to prevent sensitive data loss
  • Contribute to threat intelligence and risk analysis by researching new vulnerabilities and attack vectors
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures to align with industry standards and regulations
