Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and have at least two years of experience in an IT security role. Strong understanding of security principles, risk management, and vulnerability assessment methodologies is required. Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners, is preferred.
The IT Security Analyst will perform the day-to-day operations of in-place security solutions, identify, investigate, and resolve security incidents detected by those systems, and assist with E-Discovery. They will also implement new security solutions, create and maintain security policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures, and conduct vulnerability audits and assessments. Furthermore, the analyst is expected to participate in the planning and design of enterprise security architecture and contribute to the creation of enterprise security documents under the direction of the IT Security Manager.
