1 year of prior mechanical experience in an industrial or automotive shop environment preferred
Basic computer skills required
Must be able to use a tape measure and understand basic math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
Enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging environment
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Screening

Responsibilities

Assist in all areas of the shop including fabrication of hoses and related products
Perform basic duties in industrial and hydraulic hose area such as hose banding and crimping, roll, cut, or test hoses
Participate in cleaning shop and adhering to safety regulations
Participate in counting inventory for cycle counts and maintain stock (e.g., tag, stack, sort, keep organized)
Clean equipment and all shop areas
Count, sort, or weigh incoming goods to verify receipt against shipping notice, record and check quantity and quality for conformity to purchase orders and specifications; inspect, accept, or reject goods
Input stock items into computer and store in assigned warehouse location
Stock the counter area, take counter sales orders, build relationships with customers and associates, resolve customer problems promptly and accurately to retain and promote customer loyalty
Accurately pick will call and/or counter orders; ensure orders are ready when customer arrives
Load and unload product and deliveries as needed
