Requirements

  • Ability to respond to all alarms/alerts in data center environments, including DCIM, SAOS, CCTV, ACS, and BMS
  • Proficiency in using monitoring and automation tools for investigation, classification, and triage within SLAs
  • Deep understanding of incident criticality and impact to provide intelligence to resolver groups
  • Knowledge of internal/external communication methods and stakeholder responsibilities
  • Compliance with SOPs, MOPs, Runbooks, and Playbooks
  • Experience in root cause analysis (RCA) using in-depth questioning (Who, What, Where, When, Why)
  • Ability to act as incident commander during major incidents
  • Skills in real-time monitoring of infrastructure alarms (servers, DCIM, network, traffic)
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence tools like Everbridge Visual Command Center (VCC), InternationalSOS, and open-source tools
  • Capacity to respond calmly to critical situations and maintain SLAs

Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle of incident management: detection, investigation, classification, triage, resolution, and RCA
  • Investigate, report, and respond to alerts and incidents (war room, remote bridges)
  • Continuously monitor alarm dashboards and systems for Network, Data Center Environment, Server Health, Facility Security, and Safety
  • Identify, acknowledge, assess criticality, and escalate incidents to resolver groups or higher tiers
  • Maintain detailed records of alarm handling, actions, and resolutions in ticketing tools; file incident reports
  • Act as incident commander during major incidents, ensuring SLA compliance and documentation
  • Support program managers, facilitate project deliverables, and improve operational/engineering initiatives
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify recurring problems
  • Monitor global threat feeds, Everbridge VCC, InternationalSOS emails, and open-source tools for threats (weather, security, travel, regional instability)
  • Triage threat alerts, coordinate responses, escalate to law enforcement if needed, and compile response reports
  • Ensure clear communication with teams, stakeholders, and incident responders
  • Follow documented procedures to resolve incidents promptly
