Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Six (6) months experience in a warehouse
  • Six (6) months experience proficiently utilizing a stand-up forklift and riding pallet jack preferred
  • Basic knowledge of fresh produce preferred
  • Experience in replenishment, cycling of product, RF (radio frequency) scanners and other returns related functions preferred
  • Strong reading, writing, and fluent English speaking skills
  • Ability to perform work assignments at an acceptable productivity level
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with others in a professional manner
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, squat, turn the body, and walk
  • Ability to lift and move cases weighing up to 75 lbs continuously to/from heights from floor to overhead
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to peel and stick labels, handle equipment controls, and reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to talk, hear warning horns on machinery, with specific vision abilities including close/distance vision, depth perception, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
  • High level of endurance, energy, and strength
  • Ability to work in confined spaces

Responsibilities

  • Receives and puts away all inbound produce
  • Ensures product is put away in proper rotation (FIFO)
  • Safe operation of powered industrial equipment
  • Ensures selection slots are properly stocked with product, always keeps pallets free from tape, wrap or wires, and removes empty pallets as needed
  • Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of the work area
  • Accounting for the received product
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
