Requirements

  • Unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States
  • Technical or Vocational Training in Instrumentation or Industrial Training (AIDT)
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and electrical systems, preferably in a chemical or similar manufacturing environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for diagnosing equipment failures
  • Experience in chemical plant maintenance or industrial manufacturing
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with a Maintenance Work Order Process
  • Willingness to work overtime, respond to call-ins, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Knowledge in calibration, testing, and installation of instrumentation/electrical equipment
  • Ability to size and install rigid conduit
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Craft certification in Electrical or Instrumentation fields
  • Experience with Rosemount instrumentation
  • Experience with Delta-V distributed control systems
  • Experience handling corrosive materials (e.g., sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical systems
  • Perform PMs (Preventive Maintenance) as per plant procedures
  • Support capital projects through loop checks and commissioning activities
  • Configure instruments using HART protocol and perform installations of new equipment
  • Identify and fulfill E&I needs, including design and installation
  • Support inventory management and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with other maintenance and operations teams
  • Participate in EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) initiatives
  • Follow RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) guidelines when applicable
