Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent knowledge
  • Experience in audit process of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
  • 10+ years of experience in EHS management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, best practices, waste management, air (regulations implied)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EHS programs, policies, and training; conduct safety audits and inspections
  • Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions; monitor EHS performance and ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with management to integrate EHS into operations and promote a culture of safety; manage hazardous materials, waste disposal, and emergency plans
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies; support local compliance efforts and stay updated on industry trends
  • Develop and manage safety budgets; provide EHS training to employees and site visitors if necessary
  • Manage seals, fixed assets, equipment, consumables, loaned items, certification of ISOs or other standards, and administrative support for meetings, guest reception, real estate management, visitor handling, and internal communications
  • Plan and execute company events, external relations, and facility and utility management
