Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
  • University degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Proven technical knowledge of HSE rules and regulations at Federal and State levels
  • Direct experience with hands-on implementation of HSE rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Able to legally work and reside in the US without requiring sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Proactively assess risks to workers across worksites and develop actionable recommendations to reduce risk
  • Develop and implement HSE processes, procedures, work instructions, and checklists for consistent application
  • Monitor compliance with federal/state regulations, company policies, and procedures
  • Monitor and report on key HSE objectives and metrics, integrating HSE into management discussions
  • Facilitate incident investigations, lead root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective actions
  • Plan and assist with compliance audits and self-assessments; serve as liaison with external agencies on HSE issues
  • Coordinate and participate in HSE training; develop and maintain HSE awareness and proactive culture
  • Ensure HSE documentation is maintained, updated, and available at worksites, ahead of new requirements
