Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an electrical engineering discipline or equivalent knowledge
3+ years of experience in electrical hardware engineering design in industrial automation
Independent, able to work through problems, and make decisions with minimal guidance
Proficiency in Eplan P8 and AutoCAD to create detailed wiring diagrams and panel layouts
Familiarization with IEC harmonized standards under Machinery and Low Voltage Directives and their design requirements
Knowledge of safety circuits, safety-related parts of a control system and design requirements
Proficiency in utilizing MS Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), MS Visio, MS SharePoint, MS Teams
Professional English communication skill level (both verbal and written)
Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial plants (up to 10%)
Must be able to work in a flexible environment where timescales and project plans are required to be met

Responsibilities

Electrical design of power and control circuits
Preparation of wiring diagrams, panel layouts and complete project design documentation for manufacturing purposes
Cable and component specification, sizing, selection and associated design
Preparation of assembly instructions and work packs
Creating bills of materials in advance of procurement and manufacture
