Requirements

  • Strong academic track record (preferably in business administration, finance, accounting and/or economics). (Required)
  • At least 1-2 years experience in Documentary Trade Middle office preferably gained in an international environment along with a sound passion for financial concepts as well as strategic thinking. (Required)
  • Bachelor´s degree required (preferably Master´s degree); strong academic track record (preferably in business administration, finance, accounting and / or economics). (Required)
  • English: Highly proficient in spoken and written (Required)
  • German: Highly proficient in spoken and written (Required)
  • Spanish/Italian (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Office Package, proficient level (Required)
  • Highly motivated, responsible, challenging, able to work as part of a team, highly problem solving, with a strong ability to adapt to a multi-cultural environment (Soft Skills)

Responsibilities

  • Support the structuring, management and control of documentary trade transactions (Guarantees and Letter of Credit) booked in European Branches: checking clients’ requests and collecting right authorizations (legal, risk, compliance…). Book transactions in MO system, review closing memo and file of all documentation. Control of Precedent conditions in our transactions
  • Monitoring and reporting of the customers risks position if required, raising identified risks
  • Monitoring and control all documentation and signatures to start operations and/or to disposal of the credit lines
  • Direct and proactive liaison with back office for the booking of the transactions, the fee management and various operational tasks
  • Support the accounting department providing any relevant information related to transaction booked in the branches
  • Be a direct and first point of contact for both clients and various internal departments in order to provide relevant information and solutions
  • Actively contribute to periodic internal administrative reports
