Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Finance, IT or equivalent field. - Required
  • 9+ Years Related work experience. - Required
  • Understanding of general concepts pertaining to both Risk Management and IT, including the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with using, implementing, and/or maintaining Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) software solutions
  • Strong analytical skills/financial acumen
  • Meticulous organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to create strategic plans and lay out a strategic course of action to drive future business growth for a specific product
  • Self-starter: forward thinking, with a positive/can-do attitude
  • Ability to translate stakeholder needs into product features
  • Ability to communicate effectively to internal teams, key partners and executive management
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management

Responsibilities

  • Lead software product management and stakeholder engagement for Santander’s US Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) system
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to provide software solutions that address the needs of a diverse array of Santander US governance, risk, and compliance practitioners and stakeholders
  • Assist in leading cross-functional sessions with stakeholder groups such as First Line of Defense, Second Line of Defense, IT, and executive leadership, both locally and across Santander Group globally
  • Maintain the solution strategy, including defining and controlling the release roadmap of new modules and features, performing financial and resource planning, and overseeing engagements with Santander IT as well as business contractor management for the solution
  • Coordinate and participate in business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution documentation
  • Lead the communication strategy for stakeholder engagement, including Steering Group facilitation, leadership updates, user base communications, business analysis workshops, training sessions/job aids, etc
  • Establish product scope, prioritize product requirements and investigate product feasibility
  • Work closely with business partners to understand business processes to align solutions to business need and priority
  • Create efficient and consistent services to stakeholders, including speed, cost reduction, and a focus on elimination of duplicative systems across the environment
