  • Proven experience as a senior features editor or equivalent within a leading media organization
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong record of delivering high-quality features
  • Highly collaborative, thriving in cross-functional environments and working fluently across editorial leadership teams
  • Ability to work across time zones and manage projects ranging from weekly to annual
  • Highly organized and motivated manager capable of inspiring and bringing the best out of a team
  • Experience shaping and commissioning feature coverage that is bold, inclusive, and culturally resonant

Responsibilities

  • Commission, edit, and publish high-quality features and packages across Glamour US, aligned with global strategy
  • Collaborate with editorial leaders across Glamour’s five markets (UK, US, Mexico, Spain, and Germany) to deliver locally relevant and globally resonant features
  • Monitor cultural, social, and political trends to identify conversation-sparking stories
  • Edit and top edit features as needed
  • Build, foster, and manage a diverse network of contributors, including nurturing relationships with writers, journalists, and creatives
  • Recruit top-tier freelance writers with a focus on diversity
  • Partner with leadership on major initiatives like global packages, Women of the Year, branded content, video series, newsletters, and live events
  • Collaborate with social and audience development teams to meet performance KPIs and maximize reach
  • Work with revenue and partnerships teams on sponsored content, maintaining editorial integrity
  • Establish clear workflows and communication across editorial teams for seamless delivery
  • Contribute to an inclusive, transparent, and collaborative editorial environment, championing Glamour’s values
  • Coach, mentor, and inspire a global team of Editors and Writers
