Requirements

Civil Engineer with specialization (MSc or equivalent) in Geotechnical Engineering
8+ years of experience in geotechnical design and/or site implementation, ideally in marine or linear infrastructure projects
Experience with ground improvement techniques (e.g., stone columns, dynamic compaction, vibro-replacement, etc.) and foundation systems for coastal works
Familiarity with geotechnical software (e.g., Plaxis, Settle3, GeoStudio, or similar)
Strong analytical and reporting skills, able to translate ground data into clear recommendations for construction teams
Previous experience in international or remote projects is highly desirable
Willingness to work full-time on site in a remote location, with potential rotation

Responsibilities

Analyze geotechnical investigations and reports to provide design recommendations for foundations, embankments, retaining structures, dredging, rockfill, and soil improvement
Supervise or coordinate in-situ testing campaigns (SPT, CPT, pressure meter, etc.) and lab testing programs
Collaborate with design teams and construction teams to ensure constructability and ground behavior are considered in planning and sequencing
Monitor ground behavior during construction (settlements, pore pressure, slope stability) and propose mitigation measures when necessary
Review and validate geotechnical portions of IFC documents and participate in design optimizations
Support claims or technical justifications related to ground conditions or geotechnical scope changes
