Responsibilities

Lead one of the Company’s Business Units with full profit and loss responsibility for all operational facets
Oversee an infrastructure team including division-level managers in Operations, Fleet Management, Sales, Finance, Human Resources, Safety and Environmental Compliance, and Environmental Engineering
Execute a local market strategy aligned with the Area’s overall strategic plan and implement tactical initiatives to drive functional excellence and budget achievement
Manage all matters related to collection and/or post-collections operations (transfer stations, landfills, recycling centers and/or complexes)
Represent the Company to customers, vendors, and municipal customers
Oversee effective safety and accident prevention programs and ensure a safe and productive work environment
Lead all operations to ensure compliance with environmental, operating, regulatory, safety, accounting, and ethics standards
Drive change management initiatives to introduce and sustain new processes
Implement and execute plans to complement the Area’s strategic operating plan
Champion the execution of the strategic plan and tactical initiatives, including operating safely, enhancing customer experience, improving efficiency, and maximizing profitability
Work with Area and Region sales management to drive commercial, industrial, residential, and municipal sales efforts to achieve growth objectives, exceed customer expectations, and optimize profitability
Manage performance and talent development
Build and maintain strong relationships with government, community, and environmental groups
Travel by air, car, and/or other modes up to 30% of the time
Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent
