Requirements

Candidates must possess a CA or CPA (or equivalent license) with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 6 years of experience in fund accounting and administration within professional services, private equity, venture capital, or a hedge fund is required. A strong understanding of US partnership accounting and complex fund structures, including international funds, SPVs, aggregator funds, parallel funds, and holding vehicles, is essential. Demonstrated experience in adopting and championing AI use cases within functional areas is also a requirement.

Responsibilities

The Fund Accounting Senior Lead will be responsible for managing end-to-end fund accounting processes, including booking fund accounting entries, preparing Net Asset Value (NAV) packages, and overseeing reconciliations. They will champion the transformation of fund administration processes to be AI-native. Key duties include managing capital call and distribution processes, overseeing investor relations and reporting, managing the annual audit process for funds, supporting capitalization table management, and assisting with tax compliance and reporting obligations.
