Requirements

  • BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience
  • Internship experience preferred
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Self-motivation and drive to monitor multiple client deliverables
  • A drive to broaden your knowledge of the financial services industry
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Price and maintain timely records for hedge and private equity holdings using external pricing resources
  • Perform timely reconciliations regarding Net Asset Values (NAV)
  • Prepare and provide accounting reports
  • Communicate transactions associated with the fund(s) to investment managers and clients
  • Coordinate and support year-end audit engagements in accordance with GAAP accounting standards
  • Perform due diligence to ensure clients are in compliance with government laws and regulations
  • Correspond with external investment managers regarding day-to-day fund inquiries (fee payments, cash position breaks, and reconciliations)
  • Attend and participate in IMS and corporate professional development sessions to identify process improvements and grow your career
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
