Requirements

  • Graduate in BE/B.Tech (Electricals/Electronics/Instrumentation, Robotics) with 8-12 years of experience, including a minimum of 4 years in Functional Safety with hands-on SW development, Safety Analysis, and Tool Qualification
  • Experience on AUTOSAR is mandatory
  • Automotive Product Development Process knowledge (ASPICE, ISO26262)
  • Agile/Scrum SW development process knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
  • Passionate about continuous learning and staying updated with market trends and new solutions

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing customer safety requirements and supporting the engineering team to prepare the Technical Safety Concept and Technical Safety
  • Managing all functional safety relevant interactions with internal and external stakeholders, working on POCs, RFQs, and bringing up the technical SW architecture
  • Developing FuSa software requirements
  • Implementation of Safety Mechanisms, Safe States, and other technical FS aspects to the teams
  • Ensuring ISO 26262 certified or Qualified SW tools are used for product development and production
  • Supporting all competency teams to integrate safety mechanisms in accordance with ISO 26262
  • Defining and coordinating confirmation/verification reviews with product teams to ensure functional safety standards are met throughout the product development lifecycle
