Candidates must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a low-level security clearance, possessing a Bachelor’s degree, and demonstrating at least 5 years of experience writing services in Golang & Angular. Expertise with FHIR compliant APIs, knowledge of HL7 FHIR interoperability standards within healthcare IT, and previous healthcare industry experience, particularly within CMS or hospital quality reporting, is required. Experience with REST APIs and JSON, service registry and MuleSoft, SQL and PostgreSQL, Redshift, DynamoDB, and Liquibase is also necessary. Familiarity with data architecture and DevOps tools, including AWS Dev tools and Node, Java, C#, Go or Python, Wildfly/JBoss, and Docker, is a plus.
The Fullstack FHIR Engineer will work hand in hand with other engineers to develop and scale a major application, involving writing code, developing tests, and debugging. They will provide input on high-level architecture decisions and communicate these decisions to the development team. Additionally, they will monitor and interpret changes in employment legislation across North America and develop HR policies to ensure compliance, conduct audits, deliver training, and advise management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies, and perform other related duties as assigned.
