Full Time Online Math Teacher

Position Overview

• Location Type: Onsite (First 6 months), Remote (thereafter)

• Salary: RM3,100.00 - RM10,000.00 per month (Dependent on number of classes and teaching performance)
• Teaching Hourly Rate: RM60 - RM90

Think Academy is seeking a passionate Math Teacher to join our global teacher hub in Malaysia. We offer both online and offline mathematics courses, reaching 6 million students worldwide. This role provides an exciting opportunity for world-class teacher training and participation in an internationally-focused educational platform. The initial period will be on-site, with the potential to transition to remote work after 6 months based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Teach mathematics remotely using the Think Academy Teaching Platform.
• Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons based on Think Academy's curriculum and instructional guidance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive online classroom environment for up to 18 students, encouraging active participation and collaborative learning.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing timely, personalized feedback to both students and parents.
• Grade homework assignments and offer additional academic support as needed.
• Participate in conducting diagnostic assessments for new students.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree (Graduation year of 2021 or later preferred)
• Preferred Majors: Open to all majors.
• Teaching Experience: Prior experience in teaching mathematics is NOT required, but is a plus. Experience in teaching or participating in elementary math competitions is beneficial.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both spoken and written forms).
