3+ years of software development experience with strong competence in backend development
3+ years of experience with .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web/REST APIs
3+ years of experience with React, Typescript
2+ years of experience with SQL Azure (preferred) or SQL Server
2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL (preferred)
2+ years of experience with unit testing frameworks (i.e., Unknit, MSTest)
ML/AI development experience including competence with Large Language Models (Azure OpenAI, Anthropic), Prompt Engineering, Embeddings/vectorization/semantic similarity, RAG
2+ years (unspecified, likely continuing from prior context)

Responsibilities

Act as the governing lead for one or more teams of virtual developers using Cognition AI’s Devin (or similar toolsets)
Collaborate with Litera development teams to design innovative GenAI-based products and features using tools like Cline, Replit, and Cursor
Research, evaluate, and document new technologies, dev agents, and similar tools as they appear on the market
Socialize recent technologies throughout the Engineering department
Function as an evangelist for leveraging GenAI to responsibly benefit the company and our clients
Write clean, maintainable code that is extensible with minimum number of defects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Engineering and Product Management to complete tasks
Manage individual task priorities, estimates, deadlines, and deliverables
Demonstrate knowledge of software and security best practices (i.e., object-oriented design patterns, OWASP Top 10, SOLID design principles)
Produce documentation and evaluation of new technologies and their potential value for Litera
Communicate with other groups in the organization to evaluate the possibility of leveraging GenAI to address current process challenges and inefficiencies
Collaborate with other team members to design and develop robust features and products using GenAI and other modern technologies
Translate product and feature ideas into technical designs and development tasks
Conduct sessions and webinars to disseminate knowledge throughout the Engineering department
Define new opportunities for leveraging GenAI to improve Litera products and organizational processes
Perform other duties as assigned
