Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a FSQA role preferred or other QA type experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in completing Tyson paperwork
  • Leadership abilities to motivate the hourly workforce
  • Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills
  • Solid math and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications
  • Ability to function well under stress
  • Flexibility to work in various locations and schedules as needed
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting (50 lbs. or more)

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems to ensure high standards are met
  • Accurately document and calculate inspection results and report findings to management
  • Proactively take corrective actions, including alerting personnel to adjust processes, and identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products
  • Work closely with team and management to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to safety standards
  • Be ready to take on additional tasks contributing to overall operations success
