- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a FSQA role preferred or other QA type experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in completing Tyson paperwork
- Leadership abilities to motivate the hourly workforce
- Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills
- Solid math and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret product specifications
- Ability to function well under stress
- Flexibility to work in various locations and schedules as needed
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting (50 lbs. or more)
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems to ensure high standards are met
- Accurately document and calculate inspection results and report findings to management
- Proactively take corrective actions, including alerting personnel to adjust processes, and identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products
- Work closely with team and management to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to safety standards
- Be ready to take on additional tasks contributing to overall operations success
