Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of proven experience in web development
  • Front-end web design skills, including expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, NodeJS, Docker, Bootstrap, WordPress, React, GatsbyJS, GitHub (especially GitHub Actions), and Angular
  • High comfort level with debugging and troubleshooting using standard tools
  • Experience in API integration and development
  • Understanding of back-end development or experience working with back-end developers
  • Knowledge of web accessibility practices
  • Familiarity with developing in MS Visual Studio
  • Knowledge of databases, including MySQL
  • Experience working on large-scale consumer-facing websites

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintenance and improvement of website and web applications
  • Improve existing pages/apps and create creative solutions to develop new ones
  • Work collaboratively across the business, communicating with developers on other teams, product owners, project managers, analysts, business governance and so on
  • Follow software deployment rules and create new and improved deployment mechanisms where needed
  • Follow team code standards
  • Identify and recommend improvements to pages, apps and processes
