Must have 1 year of Forklift driving experience
Must have worked 2x or less previously and rehire waiting period must be 365 days before reapplying
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

Ensure all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
Operate in a safe manner, and in accordance with all company policies and procedures
Use a handheld computer to pick and scan product to outbound loads
Communicate effectively with other team members and assist in coordinating to accomplish all assigned tasks
Operate powered pallet jack, forklift and/or reach truck
Inspect daily, charge batteries, maintain battery water level, and change batteries as necessary
Deliver raw materials, packaging, and pallets to the appropriate production areas
Move inventory in an organized manner to store in a subzero freezer, cooler, and a dry goods area
Move finished goods and work-in-progress from production lines to the shipping area
Unload trucks
Cover and stretch-wrap pallets
Ensure assigned production lines are continuously supplied with clean raw materials and packaging
Record movement transactions in the SAP system
Ensure all raw materials and finished goods are labeled correctly
Maintain an organized and clean work environment according to 5S principles, GMP’s, and USDA regulations
