Perform a pre-shift inspection of the Forklift
Complete pre-shift Daily Inspection form and hand-in at the start of shift
Operate equipment/machinery following all Safety procedures
Load and unload trucks (Tautliner, van, container, Customer pick up etc.)
Report any equipment malfunctions to Shipping Lead Hands/Supervisors
Monitor Quality of material and product being handled and report any deficiencies to Shipping Lead Hands/Supervisors
Ensure that material (Piked orders) is stored in appropriate/designated staging areas
Ensure accuracy of material supplied to Customers
Maintain housekeeping/cleaning of equipment and around assigned work area
Participate in Department and Company meetings as applicable
Participate in mid and year-end inventory count if needed
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, as applicable
Perform other duties as assigned by the Shipping Lead Hands/Supervisors
