Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics, Business, Finance, Quantitative Analysis or other relevant subject area
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • SQL/Oracle proficiency (VBA preferred, Python a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Organize and analyze large datasets
  • Build reports and presentations incorporating data
  • Utilize programming tools to make processes more efficient
  • Analyze aspects of the macro economic environment (economic activity, inflation, interest rates, corporate credit, fixed income asset allocation)
  • Collaborate with senior analysts to contribute to investment recommendations and research products
  • Participate in meetings with economists, policy makers, market strategists, and other market participants
  • Interact regularly with analysts, portfolio managers, and traders to support the investment process
  • Work with senior analysts on various aspects of the macro economic research process
