Requirements

High School diploma or GED
6 months of quality related experience preferred
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent; draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Knowledge of SAP Inventory software, Excel Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software
Ability to stand for long periods of time, including during operation of stand up lifts
Ability to lift shoulder high up to 35 lbs repetitively
Ability to step up and down off lift and walk long distances over extended periods
Ability to work in a fast paced, non-climate controlled environment with repetitive motion activities (e.g., box cutting, standing, lifting, loading/unloading carts)

Responsibilities

Diagnose, evaluate, and track actions for on-hold and suspect battery modules and systems to identify quality issues, reduce scrap, and improve OEE
Observe products in operation and listen to sounds to locate causes of trouble/abnormalities
Evaluate products to identify, evaluate, and fix defective parts
Process defective parts through nonconforming material procedure
Inspect good components to verify conformity and return them to the assembly line
Repair or replace defective parts as possible
Evaluate rejects and determine root cause
Lead the MRB (Material Review Board) and drive actions over the analysis
Enter evaluation data into spreadsheets to create reports, including FTQT Log and FPY spreadsheet
Comply with safety policies and procedures
