Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. They must have at least four years of experience in developing device BIOS, firmware, or other low-level software, and a strong understanding of industry standards and specifications like SPI, I2C, PCIe, UEFI, and PLDM. Familiarity with C programming is essential, and experience with x86/RISCV/ARM assembly and PC/PCIe/UEFI architectures is highly desirable.
The Firmware Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, debugging, and optimizing creative solutions for GPU firmware throughout the entire GPU lifecycle, working closely with hardware, software, and infrastructure teams to transform new firmware features. They will also collaborate with OS and PC vendors to improve the startup experience, enhance team software processes and core infrastructure, and contribute to improving functional and non-functional aspects of GPU subsystems.
