Requirements

  • 5 years field inspection experience
  • API-653 Certified
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, management, vendors, and customers
  • Willing to travel (approximately 75% travel), with little notice including travel overnight and by air
  • Excellent communications skills both orally and in writing
  • Ability to pass background and drug testing, including ongoing random testing
  • Valid driver’s license, have or ability to obtain passport, TWIC card (homeland security)
  • Comfortable with heights and tight spaces
  • Knowledge or certified to perform MT, VT, MFL, PT and other NDE methods as required
  • Complete all required training within company guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a safe work environment and ensure that safety procedures are being followed and equipment is in proper working order
  • Performing all inspections in accordance with API 653 and other related standards
  • Documenting all inspection activities in accordance with company and customer guidelines
  • Recommending repairs and perform inspection of completed repair work, as appropriate
  • Managing accurate and professional communications with both customers and the office
  • Managing and direct the field crew to efficiently complete each project
  • Making quick decisions on the job to ensure successful completions of projects
