Requirements

  • 5+ years of electronic design experience with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • Must have experience designing with FPGAs (HDL, Simulation, Verification, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Sales experience is beneficial
  • Fully remote work arrangement, but required to come to the office on Mondays if located near Mississauga or Montreal; must be able to travel to Arrow office locations as requested
  • Works independently; receives minimal guidance
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  • Quickly build influential relationships with customers, suppliers, and the Arrow sales team

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Arrow sales teams in local branches across assigned region in pre- and post-sales activities
  • Provide technical support and consulting for FPGA-based designs to promote demand creation
  • Work with customers to develop a thorough understanding of their design requirements at both system and component level
  • Attend supplier trainings in-person and via conference calls; demonstrate understanding of supplier technologies' strengths/weaknesses and relation to market needs
  • Provide training to Arrow sales teams on new products and help market these products to appropriate customers
  • Manage supplier and customer expectations by building relationships and keeping stakeholders updated on activities, plans, and progress
  • Manage top opportunities and opportunity funnel in assigned region
  • Attend and actively participate in strategic branch meetings and quarterly business reviews
  • Help plan and organize engineering customer events and seminars
  • Prepare and give sales presentations to customers
  • Meet with customers both on-site and virtually
  • Participate in a sales compensation plan with variable earnings tied to sales-related goals
