Clearance Required: Secret
Certifications Required: DoD 8570 - Security+ or higher Security Certification (CISSP, CASP, etc.); OS Level certifications are a plus
Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree (technical field) with 6-8 years working experience in related fields desired
Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Deep expertise in OpsRamp platform (metrics collection & analysis, log management, alerting & notifications, automation, reporting & dashboards)
Flexible hybrid role with requirement to work onsite at customer locations in AL, UT, PA, OK as required
Schedule: M-F 9-5, flexible to work evenings and weekends if required
Flexibility to work on a monthly rotation schedule required

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain observability infrastructure using OpsRamp for HPE’s PCE environment and Cloud infrastructure in support of a Federal Customer
Configure and manage data sources, define and monitor KPIs, and analyze performance trends in OpsRamp
Configure log collection, aggregation, and analysis within OpsRamp
Create and manage alerts, define escalation paths, and integrate with incident management systems in OpsRamp
Develop and implement automated workflows and remediation actions within OpsRamp
Design and build custom dashboards and reports in OpsRamp for system health and performance insights
Integrate OpsRamp with other monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog, Elastic Stack) as needed
Ensure data quality and integrity within OpsRamp
Utilize OpsRamp data to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, application errors, and operational problems
Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and fix root causes of issues
Participate in incident response activities using OpsRamp data
Continuously evaluate and optimize OpsRamp platform performance and effectiveness
Stay updated on OpsRamp features, enhancements, and best practices
Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement changes
