Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical systems including lighting, 138kV substation, medium voltage distribution systems, uninterruptible power supply (flywheel and battery), diesel generator emergency backup power systems, and control systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
- Support installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and system performance
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, federal regulations, established standards, and procedures (e.g., GMP and SOPs)
- Participate in safety audits and contribute to continuous improvement of electrical safety programs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices
