Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years' experience of graphic design, preferably in Apparel product creation or in an agency
  • Passion and understanding of current and emerging design trends, as well as visual culture
  • Ability to translate consumer knowledge and insights into product solutions and narratives
  • Strong Adobe CC skills (Illustrator & Photoshop) and comfortable working within new digital spaces
  • Passion for fashion, design craft, innovation, graphic applications, prints, processes and tools
  • Strong illustration, typography, brand identity, and color theory skills and digital media
  • Knowledge of repeat pattern creation, printing techniques specific to textiles, understanding how designs will translate from digital to physical
  • Knowledge of apparel product creation and basic knowledge of garment construction
  • Positive personality and energy
  • Contribute and align to shared team culture and behaviors

Responsibilities

  • Craft original, fashion-forward designs that balance the duality between sport and fashion
  • Challenge conventional approaches and seek innovative ways to merge sport and fashion worlds
  • Align business priorities with creative vision in a cross-functional environment
  • Serve as a bridge between brand’s identity and external collaborators, translating their visions while ensuring alignment
  • Work under the guidance of the Design Director to translate the apparel vision into reality
  • Craft holistic narratives and create compelling stories that bring collections to life
  • Collaborate closely with Design Leadership and cross-functional category teams
  • Manage timelines, collaborate with external partners, and navigate from concept to execution
  • Collaborate with Apparel Design, Footwear Design, Product Management, and Development teams to bring seasonal creative direction to life through innovative apparel graphic design
