Requirements

  • Substantial experience in analytical roles, ideally within a web or mobile company or the online gaming industry
  • Highly skilled in SQL with a proven track record of building production-ready pipelines that handle large and complex data sets
  • Solid experience in ETL development
  • Practical experience with Tableau, and ability to create dashboards that are shared company-wide, facilitating data-driven decision-making across departments
  • Ability to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and balance the tradeoff between time-consuming development and rapid results
  • BA/B.Sc degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economy, or other quantitative fields (mandatory)
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical tools and models (significant advantage)

Responsibilities

  • Work on end-to-end data projects with internal departments to produce better games and drive monetization and retention improvements
  • Gather needs from stakeholders, build data collection and transformation pipelines, train and deploy simple predictive models into production
  • Share progress with game analysts by building dashboards and providing them with actionable recommendations
  • Analyze large, complex data sets with billions of events representing the behavior of online and mobile game players to address strategic and operational business questions
  • Design solutions from scratch, iterate quickly, create POCs, and deploy to production rapidly
