Position Overview

The Jr. Statistician executes and analyzes statistical operations processes, including sample maintenance, store characteristic updates, expansion factor determination, and final database review.


Responsibilities

  • Participate in the following meetings: daily preparation meetings, sample meetings (Panel Management, DA), and inter-monthly sample inspection.
  • Sample Maintenance: Execute and maintain samples, including rotation oversampling.
  • Calculate projection factors.
  • Configure data quality controls and review parameters annually.
  • Update the universe.
  • Validate trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or Arts, preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering with an emphasis in Statistics.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • 0-1 year of work experience in quantitative analysis.
  • Statistical knowledge in sampling design techniques (basic).
  • Statistical knowledge in quality control techniques.
  • Practical knowledge of SQL and database structures (basic).
  • Experience with statistical software such as R/Python.
  • Experience with Microsoft software such as Excel (intermediate level), Word, and PowerPoint.
