Contador Público (Certified Public Accountant)
2 years of experience as specialist, senior accounting analyst, or accounting coordinator, with specific experience in payroll reviews in Colombia and general accounting under IFRS
Knowledge of current Colombian labor legislation, current IFRS standards, Excel proficiency, and ideally knowledge of ERP (Oracle preferred)
Competencies: Attention to detail, planning and organization, adaptability, problem analysis, solution management, teamwork

Responsibilities

Verify the comprehensive monthly payroll process for personnel, supporting the managers responsible for liquidation in each Spanish Latam entity
Verify the comprehensive commission liquidation process, supporting the responsible manager
Verify compliance with local policies and applicable current legal regulations for payroll and commissions, supported by internal/external payroll managers and the commissions manager
Prepare financial statements, track transactions, reconcile accounts, and present reports
Participate in internal and external audits
Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integrity of financial information
Verification of monthly remuneration processes
Verification and monitoring of accounting/financial centralization processes related to Payroll
Monthly reports on control indicator compliance
Monthly report on monitoring compliance with the regional schedule
