Candidates need a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent, 5+ years conducting structural vibration/shock tests on spacecraft or similar systems, 3+ years hands-on with mechanical/structural/fluid/electrical systems, familiarity with test standards like GEVS and MIL-STD, and experience with thermal vacuum equipment.
The role is in a fast-paced, startup-paced production environment requiring hands-on work, flexibility, quick learning, self-motivation, and the ability to solve complex problems with minimal supervision on tight schedules.
A strong candidate is highly skilled with mechanical trades, hands-on, flexible, a quick learner, self-motivated, with experience in multidisciplinary testing, problem-solving, and working in fast-paced environments, plus nice-to-haves like cryogenic systems knowledge and soldering skills.
