Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction to innovation initiatives and research work
  • Follow industry and academic trends to identify high impact initiatives and partnerships
  • Collaborate with experts to develop novel algorithmic approaches and evaluate their clinical relevance
  • Communicate with customers, clinicians and product management for identifying future needs for new algorithms, performance improvements etc
  • Communicate globally with different R&D organizations for identifying opportunities to exchange and platform algorithm technology, clinical data, testing capabilities, etc
  • Bring innovations into technology roadmaps aligned with customer needs
  • Drive change for use of AI in development and product algorithms
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, common goals, and ownership
  • Attract and mentor a team of talented algorithms developers supporting their personal growth
  • Lead algorithm teams in program execution
