Requirements
- Evidence of successful leadership in embedded software engineering
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and proactive, can-do attitude
- Excellent people skills
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with experience in Embedded Systems
- Background in Software Development with hands-on experience from Embedded Software
- Knowledge of embedded software architectures and development environments and tooling
- Proven track record of delivering quality software on or before schedule
- Ability to handle and work with not well defined and/or changing requirements
Responsibilities
- Assuming overall responsibility of embedded software development deliverables
- Planning and managing the work of embedded software development and application engineering teams, including planning and delivery of software releases
- Planning and reporting of status and progress
- Leading and enabling the success and growth of our software teams
- Cooperating and coordinating across teams in software, application engineering, marketing and external contractors across global sites and teams to ensure flawless delivery of our initiatives
- Contribution to the development of Software Engineering practices locally and globally
- Participating in the hiring of future SW talents
